Overview
Proving Ground
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies in the design, engineering, and construction fields are adopting remote working policies for the first time. We recognize that this is a challenging change to make as many team environments have expectations for in-person collaboration.
Proving Ground is a technology consulting business who works with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners. 100% of Proving Ground’s staff works remotely from home offices across 4 different US states. Some of us have over 8 years experience working from our home offices. Collectively, our team has adopted practices for collaborative work, productive home offices, and creating healthy remote work culture.
In this webinar, the Proving Ground team will discuss their experiences with remote work and home offices. We will also hold a Q&A session where we will take questions from attendees. We will discuss:
- Our first experiences transitioning from conventional offices to home offices.
- Tips for maintaining a home office to make work comfortable and productive.
- Ways to create a fun and productive culture with remote workers.
- Recommendations for how to lead and manage remote teams and assess performance.
- Technologies that can help facilitate remote work for architecture professionals.
- Long-term business benefits and opportunities for remote working
The webinar will be moderated by Nathan Miller, CEO of Proving Ground. Panelists will include Proving Ground team members Kristen Schulte, Steve Sanda, and Trygve Wastvedt. The session will be discussion oriented and we will take questions from participants throughout our conversation.
If you can’t make it, don’t worry! This session will be recorded and published to our YouTube channel as part of the PROVE IT podcast series.
