AARP Nebraska is partnering with Opticos Design to conduct a survey of housing stakeholders and experts on the barriers to building Missing Middle housing options in Lincoln, both for sale or rent.
Why Your Input Matters: Creating more Missing Middle housing is essential to addressing our critical housing shortage. These housing types offer the size and affordability options that people of all agesâincluding older adultsâneed but often canât find. Your professional insights on zoning, building codes, financing, and market issues will help us understand the barriers preventing more of this housing from being built in Lincoln.
How You Can Help: We invite you to share your expertise by completing our survey, which will be open through August 8. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete, and you can find it HERE.
Impact of Your Participation: Your feedback will be invaluable in shaping the Age-Friendly Lincoln Action Plan. We hope to share our findings with the Age-Friendly Lincoln Steering Committee to develop effective strategies for creating more inclusive housing options.
Spread the Word: Please feel free to share the survey link with others in your organization or professional network who can offer important feedback.
