That’s a wrap on the 2025 AIA NE Mid-Year Symposium held in Kearney on Thursday, April 24.
This year was a success with record 21 exhibitor booths. We also had great building tours and educational sessions. Thanks to Younes Conference Center North for the great hospitality and assistance.
Erin Ebeler and Sara Carstensen, from Woods Aitken, gave a great presentation on new laws that were recently voted on in Nebraska. Specifically paid sick leave and medical marijuana.
Jeff Day, FAIA, Jessica Scheuerman, and FACT students had a session on creating aging-ready housing for Nebraska.
Tours in 2025 included the brand new Kearney SportsPlex, the Douglas A. Kristensen Rural Health Education Complex and the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
Thanks to all those who drove many miles to attend. We appreciate the support from our members as well as the exhibitors that were in attendance.
You can find our exhibitor information here.
