Strong, smart and bold is the mission of Girls Inc. and this theme is reinforced in the renovation/addition of the Katherine Fletcher Center. The scale and durability requirements (interior and exterior) needed on some of the spaces made insulated architectural precast panels an obvious choice. The result is a simple, cost-effective solution with grand appeal that exceeded the owner’s expectations.

Jury Comments: The jury appreciated the level of effort in the coordination of the 63 panels that address different building applications at varying scales. The net effect is stunning, both day and night.
