Located on a formerly blighted site, The Cerner Innovations, Building 1024 project is the first of several phases of a large campus master plan that will be built over the next 10 years for a Midwest-based health information technology company with an international reach. The building houses office space for 3,000 associates, a lobby, fitness center, clinic, dining facility, conference center, and many flexible spaces for working, collaborating, and reflecting. Once the master plan is developed and the overall project becomes more complete, the intent is to positively contribute to an area of the city that has been neglected for too long with an industry flourishing with job growth. Our intent is to be a catalyst for change in the neighborhood in terms of economic development, safety, and opportunity.
Jury Notes: This stair is a memorable journey - elegantly detailed components that sit well within its public atrium. The notion of creating patterns through the binary code of quotes from the company founders creates an interesting pattern.
