The Abu Dhabi New England Center for Children is a school for autistic children, developed by SEHA and operated by their Boston-based parent organization. The site features a 10,000 SM education center featuring highly specialized classrooms, a gymnasium and indoor swimming pool. The school also features a meeting center, library and below-grade parking for 200 cars.
A specialized residence building contains living units for 24 children, in four residential wings, featuring a skylit atrium and colored glass panels. Symbolizing the cutting edge in specialized education, this center will become a landmark in its Abu Dhabi neighborhood.
