Faced with inadequate wiring for computers, leaky roofs, poor acoustics and various other problems, this school was in need of extensive renovation. The result provided the school with a new auditorium to be shared with the community, as well a media center, commons area, administrative offices and an expanded kitchen and renovated pool.

Jury Comment: The masonry coursing on the wing walls rejects the conventional level and is used to reinforce the form. Also the masonry entry walk attempts to merge the ground and wall planes together.
